Medication & Allergies

Please let the school and your child's class teacher know if your child has any condition requiring medication, including allergies or asthma.


If you require the school to administer medication, you must complete and sign our Permission to Administer Form, available from the school office and for download here.

The school will not give your child medication unless you complete

and sign this form.


We will not administer non prescription medication.


Medical Appointments

Please try and make medical/dental appointments out of school time. If this cannot be avoided children must be collected by an adult and an appointment card/letter will need to be shown to the school office.


Illness at school

If your child is ill and needs to go home, we will contact you via the telephone numbers you give us. Please keep these numbers up to date.


Illness at home

Please inform the school of the reasons why your child is off sick. If you are unsure whether to keep them off, advice is available here.
